While Watanuki is busy with his part-time work as usual, he notices a woman standing in front of the shop. Her name is Mayuko. After a casual chat, the shop phone rings, so Watanuki goes inside to pick it up. It is Yuko telling him that she would not be back for a while since business is taking longer than she expected. At the end of the conversation, Yuko leaves meaningful words. But Watanuki doesn't get the implication...
