Mamoru Oshii's Tachigui: The Amazing Lives of the Fast Food Grifters (original title: Tachiguishi Retsuden) will have its German premiere at the 6th CineAsia Film Festival, held in Cologne from March 28 to April 1, 2007.

For the first time, CineAsia Film Festival will hold a competition for the best new Asian film. The CineAsia Award will be determined by an audience vote.

Started in 2001, in only few years CineAsia Film Festival confirmed itself as one of the most preminent showcases for Asian cinema in Europe, with specific attention to Japanese productions.
