Mamoru Oshii's The Sky Crawlers, is going to have its Los Angeles and New York premieres in the next few days. The Sky Crawlers will screen daily for one week at Los Feliz 3 in LA starting from December 5, and on December 12 will screen twice at the Walter Reade Theater in New York.
Nominated for the Golden Lion at the 65th Venice Film Festival and greeted with three awards at Sitges 2008, The Sky Crawlers has been officially submitted to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science for the best animated feature category.
