Mamoru Oshii's latest animated feature film, The Sky Crawlers has been invited to the 5th Dubai International Film Festival, to be held in Dubai, UEA, from December 11 to 18, 2008. The screening at DIFF marks the movie's Middle East premiere.

Since its first edition in 2004, DIFF has established itself as an important cultural event in Dubai and the UAE, with the purpose of celebrating excellence in cinema, using it as a medium to promote open dialogue between cultures and nations.
