Mamoru Oshii's latest animated feature film, The Sky Crawlers has been selected for the Gala Presentation programme of the 13th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF 2008), to be held in Pusan, Republic of Korea, from October 2 to 10, 2008.

PIFF started in 1996 as the first international film festival in the ROK, and it is currently one of the major festivals in Eastern Asia.
