Production I.G and Cartoon Network Join Forces on IGPX, the First Original Series for Toonami!

IGPX is a major international collaborative project of Production I.G and Cartoon Network, which, covering 160 countries, is the biggest animation channel in the world.

IGPX combines the talents of both Production I.G and Cartoon Network, establishing a new production paradigm. Blending the quality and style of anime with Western storytelling, IGPX will be the first instance of a U.S.A. cable network working directly with a Japanese animation studio to create an original series. Several well-known actors have signed on to voice characters for English version, such as Haley Joel Osment (starring as the voice of the leading character, Takeshi Jinno), Michelle Rodriguez, Mark Hamill, Tom Kenny and Lance Henriksen. IGPX, that uses both traditional and CGI animation, will debut in the U.S.A. on Saturday, November 5 2005 at 10 p.m. (ET, PT) during Toonami, currently #1 with boys 9-14 and 12-17 for 2005 to date. TV air in Japan starts on October 5, 2005.
