Kazuto Nakazawa's Asience: Hairy Tale has been selected in competition for the Portfolio Section of the 16th Anima Mundi International Animation Festival (Anima Mundi 2008), to be held in Rio de Janeiro from July 11 to 20 and in São Paulo from July 23 to 27.

Started in 1992 as an initiative of three Brazilian animators, Anima Mundi is a competitive international film festival devoted exclusively to animation, held in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil. By now the greatest animation festival in Latin America, every year Anima Mundi brings to the Brazilian audience the best world animation, presented in competition screenings, special programs, retrospectives, international guests and professional workshops. Portfolio is the section that focuses on commissioned animated works.
