Asience: Hairy Tale, the creative challenge directed by Kazuto Nakazawa for Kao Corporation, has been selected for the Official Competition in the Advertising Film Section of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2008. Asience: Hairy Tale is the only Japanese film among the 31 titles selected in the same category out of 136 works submitted. The number of entries in all categories registered by the selection committee this year totalled 1855, and only 262 films have been selected. The Annecy Film Festival, in its 21st edition, will be held from June 9 to 14, 2008.
