Erin, the Beast Player

Erin is a 10-year-old girl with a rare power. She can control the Great Toda, giant lizard-like creatures that are used to defend the kingdom from its enemies, but were thought impossible to be completely tamed by humans.
But because of her very special gift, Erin is unwillingly involved in the struggle for the supreme power that is endangering the kingdom. And now, her life is going to change forever...

Aired on state-owned Japanese TV NHK Educational channel, Erin the Beast Player is the new anime adaptation from one of Japan's most prominent fantasy novelist, Nahoko Uehashi (Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit). The series is directed by Takayuki Hamana (Sisters of Wellber, Library War), scripted by Junichi Fujisaku (Blood+) and features the character designs of Takayuki Goto (Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.).
