Mobile Police Patlabor
Comes Back: MiniPato

The short movie MiniPato, released in 2002, adopted a completely new, paper puppet-theater-style (cardboard cutout designs on sticks) full digital animation technique, and comically portrayed the world of Mobile Police Patlabor using 3D digital graphics technology. Following the success of MiniPato, I.G has produced a game for PSP that faithfully recreate the MiniPato world with a completely new scenario.

In an adventure game-style, the player gets to experience the sort of everyday routine of Noa Izumi and the Special Vehicles Unit Section 2, or SV2. Working together and maintaining good communications with fellow teammates and their various personalities, the player faces the dangers that confront SV2. When an incident occurs, the SV2 deploys and the game switches to a shooting mode. In the fighting scenes appearing from the vantage of the cockpit, the enemy can come from any direction, giving the player the sensation of being present. We hope you look forward to Mobile Police Patlabor Comes Back: MiniPato full of fighting action!
