Tsutomu Mizushima's xxxHOLiC - A Midsummer Night's Dream (2005) is part of the official selection of the 23rd Amsterdam Film Festival (AFFF), to be held in the Dutch capital from April 18 to 25, 2007.

A member of the EFFFF (European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation), in its past editions the AFFF has assigned its Silver Scream Award to filmmakers such as Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs), Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira), David Cronemberg (eXistenZ) and Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away)
