Kenji Kamiyama highly anticipated feature film, 009 Re:Cyborg is part of the official selection at the 17th Fantasia Film Festival (Fantasia 2013), to be held in Montreal, Canada, from July 18 to August 6, 2013. The screening at Fantasia marks the movie's North American Premiere.

Fantasia Film Festival describes 009 Re:Cyborg as follows:
"Mechanized mayhem, mysticism and moral ambiguity meet when the influential '60s manga/anime property Cyborg 009 gets a dark, postmodern makeover care of the mighty Production I.G, in the spirit of the iconic Ghost in the Shell films. Anime fans won't want to miss this one."

Fantasia Film Festival is North America's premiere and largest genre film festival, taking place in the city of Montreal, and was the first member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation outside of Europe. It has been described by Quentin Tarantino as "The most important and prestigious genre film festival on this continent."
