Production I.G at TAF 2007
March 16, 2007
Tokyo International Anime Fair 2007 (TAF 2007), held at Tokyo Big Sight from March 22 to 25, is rapidly approaching. Production I.G will be attending the event as usual presenting its latest works.
This year's program will focus on Kenji Kamiyama's most anticipated new TV series, Guardian of the Sacred Spirit (original title: Seirei no Moribito), a high-quality Asian fantasy to be aired on NHK-BS2 starting from April 7. We will also feature Reideen, Mitsuru Hongo's new directorial effort after IGPX, a series that is offering a revolutionary visual approach to 3D animation. The series is currently airing on WOWOW. We'll dedicate a corner to Sisters of Wellber, the new TV series directed by The Prince of Tennis-famed Takayuki Hamana and I.G's first collaboration with Avex Entertainment, starting April 8 on MX TV. Needless to say, new titles will be unveiled at TAF, and you'll find more about Maaya Sakamoto's new music clip Universe.
As usual, the exhibition section will feature character settings, key frames and other special items directly from I.G's vaults.
